Clients who wish to know the "status" of their case can make an appointment with one of or lawyers
in order to obtain an approximate estimate of how long it will take to obtain a decision. It is also
possible to call the office and speak with one of the legal assistants. Processing times are always
subject to change, and we can only ever provide you with an approximate time frame.
The Department of Labor and USCIS (formerly know as the INS) have websites which
provide the most up to date information about case processing. In order to use
these sites, you will need some basic information about your case. To check the
status of cases at the Department of Labor, you will need to know the date that
it was filed. The Department of Labor website does not provide case specific information.
In order to check the status of our case at USCIS you will need a copy of your receipt.
