TN VISAS
Canadian and Mexican citizens with certain educational qualifications are eligible
for TN visas based upon an offer of employment from a U.S. based company. TN visas
are valid for one year, but can be renewed indefinitely as long as the visa holder
does not intend to remain permanently in the United States. There is no minimum salary
requirement for TN visas, Mexican and Canadian applicants may apply directly at a U.S. port of
entry, or by filing with CIS to change their status while in the country. Mexican
applicants must apply with the consular section of the appropriate U.S. embassy. For
